China finally in line on BPA ban

It has taken nearly a year since western medical authorities identified the danger of bisphenol A in baby bottles.  Finally, early this month, China banned the use of bisphenol A (BPA) in baby bottles, and Chinese government officials hinted that authorities there would be increasing use of the death penalty to crack down on food safety violators.
