Natural Organic Skin Care
This Friday our favourite thing that we wish to share with you is the Lluvia Skin Care line from the Amazon Herb Company. We love all of the products that this company puts out, but this skin care line is really unique. Because of their long standing relationship with suppliers in the rainforest, Amazon Herb is able to source wild crafted, sustainably harvested, organic plants which are used in their skin care line. You can love this line for what is in it as well for what is not.
This complete skin care line was created without any types of chemical preservatives, synthetic agents or artificial fragrances, which is quite a feat considering most of the other “natural” lines do contain a certain amount of artificial chemicals. For instance Lluvia uses grapefruit seed oil to stabilize the products which eliminates the need for artificial preservatives.
A product that uses plants responsibly and entirely…I love it!

Floracopeia Inc.
One of my absolute favourite companies is Floracopeia. Established by David Crow (author of In Search of the Medicine Buddha) the company has been an advocating through education, for grassroots healthcare as well as for preserving and replanting the “Global Garden”. For the last two years I have attended their retreats in California. Floracopeia attracts experts and leaders in the fields such as Ayurvedic medicine, botany, and distillation of essential oils to offer their teachings (yes, this is my idea of a good time!!). Recently they launched medicinecrow.com which is an incredible network for accessing teachings about plant based medicines. As well, Floracopeia is an online retailer of excellent quality essential oils. They prefer to call them “aromatic treasures”, and I can see why. By dealing directly with distillers who use organic, wild crafted, sustainable growing practices I know that what I am buying is really the best available.

For those of you with a few last minute gifts to pick up you can be encouraged that there are some wonderful gifts out there for kids. Our top pick are the wooden block toys created by A Round Square. Created by Matthew Hiebert the intention behind these toys is to promote freedom, creativity, and curiosity. There are no instructions, no batteries and no rules with these toys, instead kids are encouraged to tap into their own imagination to build whatever they like. And after all, no matter what your age, whatever fuels your imagination is a wonderful gift!

Hoop Infinite
It is Christmas time and we are all feeling a little nostalgic about toys and games that we loved as children. Thanks to the creativity of Sarah Kucheran we have had to the opportunity to rediscover the Hula Hoop . Founder of Hoop Infinite Sarah creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind hoops of which the proceeds are dedicated to rebuilding a school in Peru and a local Winnipeg charity. The hoops are a sure way to reconnect to the joys of being a child, and we think, a perfect Christmas gift.

The First of Our Favourite Things
Oprah does it and so do we…here starts the list of our favourite, make life easier things, that we actually use and love.
These tools were originally invented by a fellow named Slim Spurling, and the Colorado company continues to be run by his lovely wife Katharina. Here was a brilliant man who was able, like all inventors, tap into the infinite field of information. He created rings, coils and harmonizers based on ancient and sacred ratios. The tools are made to create a precise harmonic resonance which impacts the surrounding energy field. The same way a bouquet of flower can impact the look and feel of a room, these tools impact the energy around them with the volume turned way up! Observations of the effects of these tools include the clearing of environmental pollution, computer radiation reduction, water improvement and personal energy enhancement.
We have several of these wonderful gadgets spread throughout our office and we absolutely love them. We especially get a lot of questions about the Environmental Harmonizer because everyone loves to be around it. It sits in a room in our office space where we do a lot of counseling with others, and this little baby really anchors that space with a peaceful and positive energy.
Of course, there has been a lot of research done on Light-Life™ Technology and for those of you who are information junkies like us, it is available in the book Slim Spurling’s Universe by Cal Garrison and on Light-Life™ Technologies website.
