Now we know that this is not the time of year (especially for those of us living at northern latitudes) when we start thinking about fewer layers of clothing, but perhaps you will consider taking your shoes off? This is what we have found:
Wearing shoes cuts you off from your own energy.
Walking barefoot stimulates all of the organs in your body through the principles of reflexology.
Rubbing your bare feet on the floor instantly grounds you into your body.
Walking barefoot allows you to be balanced and brings your whole body into alignment.
Your body eliminates a lot of toxins through the bottom of your feet, not wearing shoes or socks means that you can leave these toxins behind rather than walking around in them all day.
Shoes can be a problem because they are not necessarily well made for your feet. Ideally your shoes would be custom made for your feet, but if this is not possible, then you can buy insoles which will support your feet and allow you to feel more balanced when you are walking around.
